Thanks to Covid’19 I have been given the chance to reflect on what I have dong for the last 2 years after leaving Lululemon. For the first time in a long time I have had the forced opportunity to get some time to myself.
Having set up my house and my business in New Zealand for most of 2019, and building out Won.House with Murphy Chung 2019 went by so fast. So the start of this year I was to focus on Won-Access and setting the consulting arm of WonHouse. Having accepted a consulting contract, I packed my bags and headed out to North America to base myself for 6 to 12 months.
Six weeks into the job Covid’19 hits and I am forced to hibernate in Vancouver, putting a stop to my weekly travel in and out of the US. Very fortunate that my client is seeing the benefits of what I do, and are they happy that I can work remotely and maintain the same support.
During the last few weeks I have been able to look at supporting more clients remotely, and being able to use the experience and knowledge I gained while working in the UK workwear industry. Surprising how things change and yet stay the same. It was great to dive deep into microbiology, into design and sourcing of PPE again.
Last week I decided to gain a little knowledge about digital marketing and one of the things I like to do is put what I learn into pracitce. So thanks to Covid’19 I decided to build this Won-Access website to explain what we do. It was a real education in website design and learning how everything links together.
I hope its gives you an insight into what we are building with Won.house and Won-Access. I get so excited about innovation and bringing product to market. I plan to build out a portfolio of products and projects and share these on this site. I would also love to hear your feedback and suggestions of topics to discuss.
